Motion Graphics - PixelBurn

Another interesting company that have produced HD quality graphics are PixelBurn, a company based in London. They've worked for different areas, from promotional content to informative films. They've produced many projects for clients such as Cartoon Network and HMV, as well as working for game/films trailers like Championship Manager and The Kingmaker.

Their showreel is example of many different graphics and animation they've created. Some examples show mix of live-action with effects blended in, while others are fully rendered CGI with 2D graphics. whatever audience they're targeting at, this company knows how to make an appealing mix of motion graphics, while also promoting the product.

Motion Graphics - O-Motion

O-motion is one of many companies to produce animation and graphics in high quality. Based in Brighton, they've collaborated with many well-known brands, like the BBC, Toyota and Emirates, and have worked for over 12 years designing, making and animating graphics to be viewed in many areas.
One of their examples is for what they drafted for Sky Sports News, which shows off a colourful and creative look at how the channel is approved with High-Definition graphics and quality. There's a mix of colour that reflects to the channel's logo, and a set of lights beaming around certain areas. Even though O-Motion only made the concepts and story-boarding for this, they clearly gave an appealing idea on how a station can make use of technology when it is up to date.

Here, their showreel highlights some of the work they have made in the past. They've created many areas from moving texts to animated characters, all appealing to the business it is made for, and who it's aimed at. A lot of effort is made into these graphics, to make it a full motion animated film, and helps to deliver the information while being presented in a flat cartoon-like fashion.

Motion Graphics - The Smart Party

The Smart Party are specialists at using 2D and 3D for creating graphics and animation, based in .
Many of their examples have been created for broadcasting and corporations, and developing new ideas for both areas. In the past, they created works for advertisements, opening credits for tv shows, and various other snippets for events in the United Kingdom. according to their website, they provide everything in production and such, including concepts, scripting, the animation and editing.

In this example, we have a sting they made as part of a competition for the British Animation Awards (or BAA). Here, they've used the idea of the BAA logo, and made it into a character. You don't actually see the character until the camera zooms out, and reveals the entire character and the rest of the scene. The sting is a 2D motion graphic, where a sheep is just minding its own business, in the bad weather. But it all builds up to a humorous ending when the weather changes. While the pink background color clashes a little with the character (especially as the sheep has no outline in this short), it's a nicely animated segment which relates well to the  event they've made it for, and the possible mascot that it's part of.
